Every successful small business owner knows how to balance a budget.  I can't wait to get my hands on Washington.

The Federal Government has run rampant with its spending habits for decades, and that has increased exponentially under this Congress and the Obama Administration. I will propose and support legislation that decreases and streamlines the operation of government. Furthermore, I will work to decrease the role of the Federal Government in all things not specifically defined as "enumerated powers" in the U.S. Constitution.

I will support efforts to break the stranglehold of lobbyists and labor unions on legislators, an influence that is responsible for trillions in unjustified bureaucracy. I will oppose legislation like "card check" that limits a worker's right to vote in private, and without coercion, when deciding to become unionized. I believe government spending should be contained within a pre-defined budget, rather than spending first and borrowing the excess.
