Israel is an island of democracy in the middle east and one of America’s closest allies in the world.

Israel is beset on all sides by countries that question its right to exist.  Iranian President Ahmadinejad has stated several times that he hopes to “wipe Israel off the map.”  He has denied the holocaust, and Iran is currently seeking nuclear technology to accomplish Ahmadinejad’s stated mission.

Our Jewish brethren depend on American might, resources and diplomacy to defend their lives and liberty on a daily basis.  If elected to Congress, I will stand with the state of Israel and against all enemies of freedom and democracy abroad.
